Athos Hotel

The hotel had a marvellous location in quite street very close to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed good breakfasts with homemade jam. Courteous service was provided.

Had superior twin room with comfortable bed, a larger bathroom and a balcony & unimpeded view. Delicious food in the restaurant, satisfactory breakfast with homemade jam. Marvellous and wonderful location - very close to a tube station. Great service from the staff.

Overall it was well-kept and beautifully maintained, with a private bathroom.

The bedroom was good-sized and airy. The bed was comfy and a private safe, an air conditioning, and a minibar were a bonus. This location was magnificent and absolutely perfect, close enough to Sintagma square and other places, and Plaka, Olympic Stadium. Also, the hotel was not too far from Princes Street Gardens.

The location was marvellous in a really quiet area, very close to all the major attractions * including the Metro and the Airport Bus Stop, and monastiraki square, metro, Acropolis. Plaka district was worth visiting.

The breakfast was satisfactory with homemade jam, liked what was offered. There were very comfy beds and a mini fridge bar, an air conditioning, and an individual safe inside the room. The location was particularly good, for example, an underground station was very close to the venue.

Dinner and breakfast food was fabulous. The bedroom was neat and brand-new. I loved the location in the middle of the city.

The views were not very nice.

The accommodation is in the middle of the town. It has particularly helpful staff and good services.

The location was great - close to restaurants and a stadium. All the staff was incredible and exceptionally pleasant, fixed my issues. Superior twin room I stayed at was new-fashioned with all the amenities.

Booked superior twin room, that was provided with a balcony and unimpeded view plus a larger bathroom. The location was particularly good and we were very close to restaurants and a stadium.

It was surely a really nice stay of 4 nights. By and large, it was incredible base for sightseeing in Athens, had much fun. The breakfast offered lots of fab meals.

Satisfactory breakfast, lovely views, stunning location just off the stores along Ermou, restaurants and flea markets, and downtown Plaka/Athens and Acropolis. The traditional restaurant on the premises.

We were there for 2 days, everything was very good, loved its marvellous location close to center of Plaka, Syntagma square, the main shopping strip Ermou and close to Monastraki, and shops, restaurants and the main attractions. Its service was excellent.

It was good sized with 2 twin beds, good enough for overnight stay. The hotel's location was amazing, really close to the bus stop to the airport, metro stations, Plaka, Syntagma and the Acropolis, and all the major attractions * including the Metro.

The weather was pleasant, had real good stay. The food in the traditional restaurant was fab, thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was absolutely good.

It has magnificent location in Plaka district short walk to the Acropolis, Anafiotika, and all the other restaurants and flea markets in Plaka as well as Santorini. Staff is particularly helpful and you can park your car nearby.

I came here for 6 nights and had a very very good stay. Everything was fine, I loved my stay. The staff were thoughtful and the wake up calls and ironing were free of charge. The location of the hotel was best possible - within a close distance from Public. Furthermore, the area was secure. The restaurant was wonderful, with appetising dishes...

the place was clean, i booked the superior queen room with roof top views, everything was perfect. the staff were efficient and the restaurant was lovely! the location was brilliant, for example, a dazzling museum was within walking distance of the hotel.

The breakfasts were good with homemade jam, couldn’t ask for anything better.

The location was easy, for example, a hilltop temple monument was within walking distance of the hotel. Besides, it was just off the Acropolis, Ermou shopping street and syntagma station and monastic ski. The vibe here was quiet. Enjoyed very early check-in.

We do recommend this property. Also, it had parking nearby. There was Avocado, max 5 mins walk to, loved their meals.

A huge variety restaurants to eat close by, like Tzitzikas kai Mermigas that was only 5 minutes' walk away. It was adjacent to Pond with turtles. Good home base for your vacations in Athens...
